Loans should be requested through the Curator. The borrower must state the purpose and the period needed to examine the material. In general we never lend material from the fossil collection or bulky objects, but scientists are welcome to examine the objects at the museum. Dissection or destruction requires written approval by the Curator. All labels must be returned with the material, and in case of dissections/destruction a brief description must be enclosed stating what has been done. One reprint is requested to the Osteology Section of each publication that, partly or wholly, has been based on the examined material.
